Colossians 3:12-14 NKJV

“Put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”

A Daily Prayer

May 6, 2013 - Author: Bernadette Saddik - No Comments

Thank you Lord, for this day You have given us. Please watch and guide us always. Thank You so much for everything You have granted my family, friends, and me.

My sins are plentiful, but please forgive me. Help me not to repeat them, not to want to repeat them. Help me walk closer to You and not depart from Your ways, ways that You set for our benefit.

Please be with us in everything we do, say, and think. Bless our dreams and dream-scapes and mind-wanderings. Let it all be in You, through You, for You, and because of You.

Help us to get everything done when we need to get it done, the way we need to, where we need to, for Your glory. Let us not be anxious about anything, for you are the Almighty Who holds us in Your hands.

Allow others to see You in me and me in You. Witness to us in all I do–open our eyes to Your mercy.

You love us so much Lord; please let us see that, be energized by it. Bring us closer to loving others as You love us.

Heal that which hurts Lord, if that is Your will. And if You have something different in store for us, grant us patience to accept that. Be our strength in every part of our journeys.

Above all, align our wills to Yours, that we may be satisfied with the wonders You have in store for us.

Thank You for the gift of salvation.
Thank You for the gift of forgiveness.
Thank You for the gift of prayer.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit–one God–Amen.

“But verily God hath heard me; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.” Psalm 66:19 KJV
