Colossians 3:12-14 NKJV

"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection."

My Heart Cries Today | God Answers Our Prayers

January 2, 2015 - Author: Bernadette Saddik

Blessed be the Lord, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications.” Psalm 28:6 KJV

In the middle of the day,
Hidden in the blinding sun,
I cry.
My heart cries for company.
It cries from the pain of loneliness,
Cries to see You more.

Yet, in the middle of the day,
Lit by the bright noon sky,
I rejoice.
My heart rejoices in the warm rays’ hugs.
It rejoices in the friendly hummingbirds.
Rejoices in Your comforting arms.

In the middle of the night,
Hidden in the dark shadows,
I cry.
My heart cries for meaning.
It cries from the pain of ignorance.
Cries to hear You more.

But, in the middle of the night,
Lit by the stars and moon,
I rejoice.
My heart rejoices in a soft sound sleep.
It rejoices in sweet purpose-filled dreams,
Rejoices in Your tender mighty song.

In the midst of dusk and dawn,
Hidden in the painted clouds,
I cry.
My heart cries for others’ struggles.
It cries from the pain of their trials,
Cries to know You more.

Still, in the midst of dusk and dawn,
Lit by the jewel-tone streaks,
I rejoice.
My heart rejoices in a new day.
It rejoices in the hope of tomorrow,
Rejoices in Your everlasting love.

Yet the Lord will command His lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.” Psalm 42:8 KJV
