Jesus, take these words… | A Life of Love
March 2, 2015 - Author: Bernadette Saddik - No Comments“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; ‘Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.'” Galatians 5:13-14 KJV
Jesus, take my ears —
Comfort with them, make patience.
Help me hear better.
Jesus, take my eyes —
Understand with them, make light.
Guide me to see more.
Jesus, take my lips —
Encourage with them, make joy.
Let me minister.
Jesus, take my feet —
Outreach with them, make brothers.
Direct me forward.
Jesus, take my hands —
Heal with them, make melodies.
Shape me to do so.
Jesus, take my heart —
Inspire with it, make kindness.
Teach me compassion.
Jesus, take my mind —
Seek with it, make discernment.
Show me Your wonders.
Jesus, here’s my life —
Fulfill my purpose in You.
I give You my love.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 KJV
